Why Students Procrastinate: 3 Hidden Reasons

Why oh Why Student Procrastinate ? And let’s be honest, it is not just the students who are concerned. Lot of us there are master of pushing back what we are supposed to do. There are forces behind your procrastination you might not even be aware of.

1. Work seems tough. (Don’t know how to do it.)

2. Work seems pointless. (Meaningless.)

3. Lazy (The pain of NOT working seems LESS painful than actually doing it.)

Research has found those 3 emotional hidden hot buttons triggering you to procrastinate as a student (or not a student! everyone is concerned OK!). And because we want you to stop procrastinating and start acting, we show you this little clip explaining all you need to know.

This lively RSAnimate, adapted from Dan Pink’s talk at the RSA, illustrates the hidden truths behind what really motivates us at home and in the workplace.
